Red Cross Disaster Team is Dispatched to a Home Fire Affecting 2 Adults with 2 Children in Se Portland - 12/12/18

Disaster responders with the local chapter of the American Red Cross were dispatched to a home fire disaster on Wednesday, December 12th, 2018 at approximately 17:33 hours near the 13100 block of SE Division Street, in Portland, Or.

This single-family fire affected 2 adults with 2 children. The Red Cross provided resources to help address the immediate basic needs of those affected such as temporary housing, food, clothing, comfort kits including toiletry items. Additional information about recovery services along with health care and mental health services were provided as needed. Additional information about this incident, if available can be obtained through the first responding agency/fire department.

The Red Cross in SW Washington and Oregon (Cascades Region) helps an average of three families affected by home fire disasters each day. The Ted Cross advocates emergency preparedness and offers free installation of smoke alarms in our community.
