Disaster responders with the local American Red Cross responded to a home disaster flood on Tuesday, October 9, 2018, at approximately 4:30 p.m, in the 54200 Block of OR-74 Highway, Heppner, Oregon

This flood affected 4 adults and 1 child. The Red Cross provided resources to help address the immediate basic needs of those affected such as temporary housing, food, clothing, comfort kits with toiletry items, information about recovery services, and health and mental health services.
