Disaster responders with the local American Red Cross at approximately 9:30 a.m. Dec. 10, 2017 responded to a single-family home fire disaster that occurred on Dec. 9, 2017, at 7000 block of SE Center Street in Portland, Ore. The fire affected two adults and two children.
The Red Cross provided resources to help address the immediate basic needs of those affected such as temporary housing, food, clothing, comfort kits with toiletry items, information about recovery services, and health and mental health services.
