Disaster responders with the local American Red Cross responded to a home fire disaster
Friday evening November 17 2017, at approximately 7:30 p.m. in the 4000 block of Thorman Ave. NE In Salem, OR. This single family fire affected two adults, one child and two pets. The Red Cross provided resources to help address the immediate basic needs of those affected such as temporary housing, food, clothing, comfort kits with toiletry items, information about recovery services, and health and mental health services.
