Polina Senchilo Joins Pink Lemonade Project as Community Relations and Program Manager - 07/07/20

Vancouver, WA – Pink Lemonade Project (PLP) has hired Polina Senchilo as their new Community Relations and Program Manager. In addition to managing PLP’s extensive programs, she will lead PLP’s effort for a successful Girlfriends Run on Oct. 11.

“I am delighted for this opportunity to develop new, exciting events for the breast cancer community, while overseeing the current critical programming support that Pink Lemonade Project has provided for the past 10 years,” said Senchilo.

For the past five years, Senchilo was the Community Relations Coordinator at Chappelle’s Towing LLC. During her tenure, she was credited with bringing the towing company into the 21st century with her ideas and knowledge of social media and website development. She also started Chappelle’s Uplift program, which helps the less fortunate in our community.

Senchilo’s is an active volunteer in the community, whose past experience includes: Ambassador for Greater Vancouver Chamber of Commerce 2013-2019; Committee Member for Pink Lemonade Project’s “Pink Glow” Gala since 2017; Board Member for Pink Lemonade Project since 2019; Chair of The Dessert Dash for The Evergreen School District Foundation Gala 2015; Bell ringer for the Salvation Army during the 2013-2017 Christmas holiday season.

Senchilo resigned from the PLP board on July 1, 2020, in order to accept her new role.

Allen & Cassie Gabriel, our purpose is to provide breast cancer previvors, patients, survivors and their families with the tools to enable them to thrive through their breast cancer journey and beyond. PLP provides critical support, beyond what the healthcare system can offer, to those affected by breast cancer who struggle with the many emotional and psychological aspects of a breast cancer diagnosis and recovery. Our nonprofit assists those affected by breast cancer across the Vancouver-Portland metropolitan area and we have served over 2700 participants since our inception.
