May 18, 5:30 p.m., at ilani Casino Resort, 1 Cowlitz Way, Ridgefield. Single tickets are $125 and can be purchased at https://pinklp.ejoinme.org/2019PinkGlowRegistration.

"Pink Glow is our signature event and was created to support the important work being done each and every day at Pink Lemonade Project. We are truly grateful for the generosity of our sponsors and guests who financially support this event, empowering us to continue our vital work in the region. With plenty of bubbly and spirits to go around, this will be a glamorous night out to remember,” said Meaghann Ande, executive director.

The event includes a live auction, dynamic entertainment, silent auction packages, and a plated dinner. Two of Pink Glow’s exciting and unique auction items up for bid include:

A Damien Lillard jersey signed by the all-star himself. This jersey was carried by Lillard’s mother in to the Trailblazer locker room during half-time of their final regular season game in April. The jersey bears a certificate of authenticity and is packaged with two court-level tickets to a regular season 2019-2020 game.

Portland First Responder's based out of Portland International Airport have donated an in-depth experience for 4-6 individuals to explore the training grounds of Port of Portland Police and Fire. The tour will include a MILO Use of Force simulator demonstration, a taser demonstration, and demonstrations of airport fire and rescue equipment.

About Pink Lemonade Project

Founded in 2010 by Drs. Allen and Cassie Gabriel, Pink Lemonade Project (501c3) was created to provide critical support to breast cancer survivors who struggled with the many emotional and psychological aspects of breast cancer diagnosis and recovery. Within the breast cancer community itself, Allen and Cassie noticed a dangerous lack of information, such as when someone should get a mammogram (with or without a history of breast cancer), as well as the rights and options available for restoration after a mastectomy or lumpectomy.

Initially providing a retreat for 14 brave women, PLP expanded in 2011 with the offering of singles and couples’ retreats. Today, PLP improves the lives of many through four vital programs: Revive Retreats which offer a healing three day escape for survivors; Pink Link, offering unique educational and social gathering opportunities; one on one peer mentorship for women newly diagnosed and in treatment; and our support groups, facilitated by oncology social workers and designed to give women cancer survivors an opportunity to talk with others who are facing similar challenges in a safe, welcoming environment.
