Shooting At Vancouver Medical Facility -12/22/20

Just after 1:00 p.m. on 12/22/20 police were called to a reported shooting at 505 NE 87th Avenue in Vancouver, WA., a medical facility adjacent to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center. Security officers put PeaceHealth Southwest into modified lockdown with most entrances closed.

The shooting resulted in injuries to two people, who were transported to PeaceHealth Southwest’s Emergency Department for treatment. No names, conditions, or other details about the shooting are available at this time. The situation is now safely contained, and both the 505 building and PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center are no longer in lockdown.

The 505 NE 87th Ave. building is owned and managed by Pacific Medical Buildings (PMB) Real Estate Services. PeaceHealth Southwest offers numerous services in the 505 Building including our Vision Center, Oncology and Infusion, Maternal Fetal Medicine, PeaceHealth Medical Group Family Medicine, and Sleep Disorders Clinic.
