Parkrose Budget Committee Vacancy ~ Seeking Applicants ~ Apply By February 3rd -12/18/24

The Parkrose Board of Education of School District No. 3, Multnomah County, Oregon is seeking one individual to join the District’s Budget Committee. Time requirements are minimal; 4-5 meetings lasting approximately 2 hours each in the evening. There are no requirements to know or understand the budget when you apply, just a passion for serving Parkrose students. We provide training!

Applications are due no later than Friday, February 3, 2025 by 4:00pm. Interviews will be Monday, February 10, 2025 at 6:30pm  

Come join a collaborative group of committee members who work to influence the budget decisions for our District.

The Parkrose Board of Education of School District No. 3, Multnomah County, Oregon, will convene in an Executive & Board Business Meeting on Monday, December 16, 2024 at the Parkrose School District Office located at 10636 NE Prescott Street, Portland, Oregon at the hour of 6:30pm.

Policy updates include: Artificial Intelligence, Attendance, Graduation, Instructional/Library materials, Staff leaves, Medications, Safety Committee and Title IX/Civil Rights

In-Person Public Comment Protocol - Upon arrival at the meeting, please fill out an Intent-to-Speak card and hand it to the Board Assistant prior to "In-person Public Comment" on the agenda. You will have a 3 minute time limit.
