Tuesday, May 26, 2020 Virtual Board Business Meeting Agenda - 05/20/20

The Parkrose Board of Education of School District No. 3, Multnomah County, Oregon, will convene in a Virtual Board Business Meeting on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 online virtually with Zoom at the hour of 6:30 pm. The Board will recognize School District Retirees & Asian/Pacific American Heritage Month. They will receive updates on revenue forecast, workshare, reopening scenarios, summer programming guidance, equity & wellness policy, chromebooks, special education digital learning & counseling. They will report/discuss items of Board Business including: regional equity work, OSBA board of directors, color caucus, educational foundation, legislative advocacy, board retreat date and the canceled OSBA conference. They will take action on consent agenda items and a recognition resolution. Notice of Budget Committee Meetings - Proposed Budget for FY 2020-2021 - 05/06/20

The Multnomah County School District #3 / Parkrose School District will hold a public meeting to discuss the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021.  Please note that in light of the COVID-19 state-wide restrictions and in keeping with the Governor’s recommendation for social distancing to reduce the spread of the coronavirus, the  meeting of the Parkrose School District Budget Committee will be conducted online rather than in-person. With respect to the social distancing recommendation, the Budget Committee will only accept written comment or testimony for the May 13, 2020 meeting. All public comments submitted by 4:00pm on May 13, 2020 will be presented to the Budget Committee.

The meeting will take place on the following dates:

May 13, 2020 6:30 pm – 1st Budget Meeting          

The purpose of the meeting is to receive the budget message and to receive comment from the public on the budget. This is a public meeting where deliberation of the Budget Committee will take place. Any person may attend the virtual meeting and submit public comment or testimony on the proposed programs with the Budget Committee.
