Pacific Power triples the impact of energy assistance for Washington families
Company will add $2 for every $1 donated
YAKIMA, Wash. (Oct. 5, 2026) — Pacific Power customers have a simple way to make a real difference close to home, and this year every gift goes three times as far. Pacific Power will match every dollar donated to Project HELP or the Northwest Community Action Center with $2 more, up to $34,000, helping local families keep their homes powered and their budgets on track.
How to give:
-
By Mail: Customers who get paper bills will find a contribution envelope in their October bill.
-
Monthly on your bill: Sign up for the fixed donation program and give any amount, starting at $1 per month. Pacific Power matches these donations 2-for-1, too.
-
Online or by phone: Visit PacificPower.net/Donate or call 1-888-221-7070.
Donations may be tax-deductible and go directly to the local organization serving each community. Those organizations confirm eligibility and distribute the funds:
-
Project HELP, run by The Salvation Army, serves the Walla Walla, Yakima and Grandview areas.
-
Northwest Community Action Center serves the Toppenish and Sunnyside areas.
Every dollar stays in the donor's home county, supporting neighbors in their own community.
Pacific Power is also here to help customers directly. Anyone who wants support managing their bill can call 1-888-221-7070. Pacific Power representatives can set up a payment plan that fits their needs and connect them with local agencies that offer additional help.
