Pacific Power Foundation announces 115 grants supporting safety and wellness

 

PORTLAND, Ore. (April 16, 2026) — Throughout Oregon, Washington and California, there are dedicated organizations working tirelessly to support their neighbors and provide essential services when they need it most. The Pacific Power Foundation recognizes their commitment to the safety and wellness of their communities and has awarded 115 grants totaling $344,002.


The grants will support a variety of programs, including those that provide meals for individuals experiencing food insecurity, offer shelter for the unhoused and facilitate healthcare for underserved communities.

 

“These organizations play a vital part in helping address the urgent needs of individuals and families across the region," said Ryan Flynn, director of the Pacific Power Foundation and president of Pacific Power. “This funding by the foundation will help amplify their efforts to support our neighbors and improve the day-to-day lives of people in all parts of our communities.”

 

The Pacific Power Foundation’s Safety and Wellness grant cycle is one of four cycles throughout the year. Below is a list of some of the organizations that received a grant:

Del Norte County:

  • North Coast Rape Crisis Team

 

Siskiyou County:  

  • Hornbrook Community Association
  • Madrone Hospice
  • Mercy Foundation North
