Peak Vista Relocates Services With Focus On Convenient Patient Access To High Quality Care (Photo) -04/27/22

Colorado Springs, Colo. – Peak Vista Community Health Centers (Peak Vista), a regional nonprofit organization, has relocated services from several of its health centers effective Monday, April 18, 2022:
- Health Center at International Circle
- Health Center at Academy, 3100
- Health Center at Kiowa
- Pediatric Health Center at Academy
- Falcon Peak Health Center
- Pain & Wellness Center/Specialty Clinic.
All staff and services at these locations have been integrated into nearby Peak Vista health centers. Demographic and location data was assessed to ensure that services and providers would remain in close proximity to patients. This allows patients to remain with their current providers while receiving access to comprehensive, whole-person care including medical, dental, and behavioral health services.
“The pandemic has impacted nearly every aspect of our organization,” says Dr. Emily Ptaszek, President and CEO. “The resulting challenges in hiring and staffing shortages are not unique to our region or the health care industry. We are responding to those shifts to ensure that high quality patient care and convenient access points are a top priority. As is always the case in health care, we will continue to routinely assess where and how we deliver the best care to our patients.”
