Peak Vista’s Breakfast of Champions® Returns as an In-Person Event
Featuring 14-Time Paralympic Gold Medalist, Erin Popovich
Colorado Springs, Colo. – Peak Vista Community Health Centers (Peak Vista) celebrates its seventeenth annual Breakfast of Champions®, a premier fundraising event returning this year as an in-person event; Friday, November 19, 2021. The event will be held at the Broadmoor from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., and it will feature 14-time Paralympic Gold Medalist, Erin Popovich, as its keynote speaker.
Erin Popovich
Popovich participated in three Paralympic Games: Sydney 2000, Athens 2004 and Beijing 2008, winning a whopping total of 14 gold medals and five silver medals in swimming. She is the sixth Paralympian to be inducted into the Hall of Fame and is a two-time winner of the ESPY Award for Best Female Athlete with a Disability.
Popovich is a graduate of Colorado State University and a resident of Colorado Springs. She continues to support athletes through her work with the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee. She has a unique perspective on the Paralympics, going for the gold and the importance of health and healthcare.

The Breakfast of Champions®
The Breakfast of Champions® is Peak Vista’s premier fundraising event that supports its mission to provide exceptional health care to people facing access barriers through clinical programs and education. The event generates funds for primary medical, dental and behavioral health services for individuals in the Pikes Peak and East Central region, creates awareness of Peak Vista’s programs and recognizes the many physicians, dentists and other volunteer champions who support Peak Vista.

The 2021 Breakfast of Champions® will be held on Friday, November 19, 2021 from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. at the Broadmoor Hotel. Tickets are available at peakvista.org/BOC.
