Peak Vista Community Health Centers Plans New Colorado Springs Health Center -02/16/21

Colorado Springs, Colo. – Peak Vista will break ground on a new health center in Colorado Springs in late Summer. Located at the corner of S. Tejon St. and E. Las Vegas, The Tejon Health Center, is scheduled to open in 2022. It will provide Medical, Dental, Behavioral Health and Care Coordination services.

 

Early concepts of this health center envision a large facility and design is expected to be finalized this Spring. Peak Vista is working with the City and other partners to develop the optimal service delivery model for this location.

 

Peak Vista’s President and CEO, Pam McManus comments, “Peak Vista has been offered a truly uncommon opportunity to design, build and operationalize a whole-person health center which will provide a substantial and needed enhancement to the services we provide to those at risk of, or who are currently experiencing, homelessness, as well as providing care to a quickly growing number of low-income residents and their families near downtown Colorado Springs.”
