News Release
Portland Parks & Recreation community centers, swimming pools close early on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 - 02/20/18

All Portland Parks & Recreation indoor pools and community centers will close early on Tuesday, February 20, 2018, due to current winter weather conditions and a pessimistic forecast.

Indoor pools will close at 1pm today, and all community centers will close at 2pm.

No decisions have yet been made about tomorrow's operations.

Other impacts on Tuesday, February 20, 2018:
The main entry road to Powell Butte Nature Park is closed today.
The road to the summit of Mt. Tabor Park is closed.
The following park roads in Washington Park are now and will remain closed through tomorrow (Wednesday, February 21, 2018):

- SW Kingston Dr
- SW Rose Garden Way
- SW Knights Blvd (intermittent closures for crews to clear)

Washington Park closures for Tuesday, February 20, 2018:
- Portland Japanese Garden
- Oregon Zoo
