Last night just before midnight Portland Fire crews were called to a house on fire at SE 88th and Insley. When they arrived firefighters found heavy fire burning in a house that was under construction. The fire was declared under control within 10 minutes, but there was significant damage to the structure. There were no injuries associated with it. The cause of this fire is currently under investigation by PF&R's Fire Investigation Unit.
This release will be updated with fire cause if/when that information becomes available.
