Portland Fire & Rescue Responds to a House Fire (2500 Block of SE 87th) - 03/10/19

This afternoon at 12:54 pm Portland Firefighters were called to the 2500 block of SE 87th. When they arrived fire crews reported a fence on fire with flames moving into the attic of a nearby house. Firefighters searched the house for trapped occupants while working to extinguish the fire.

No one was found inside and the fire was extinguished quickly. There were no injuries associated with this fire. A fire investigator was called to determine the cause of the fire. This release will be updated when the cause of this fire has been determined. 

PF&R credits several neighbors who saw the fire and called 911. Their quick action helped firefighters to minimize the spread of this fire.
