Portland area Plaid Pantry stores have sold three tickets of $1 million or more this year

WHAT: Oregon Lottery officials will present a $45,000 selling bonus check to representatives of Plaid Pantry for selling a winning $4.5 million Oregon's Game Megabucks ticket. Lottery officials will also hand out a limited number of free Oregon's Game Megabucks tickets at the event.
BACKGROUND: Tarver Hannant of Portland won $4.5 million after purchasing an Oregon's Game Megabucks ticket at a Portland Plaid Pantry. This is the third ticket of $1 million or more sold by a Plaid Pantry in the Portland Metro area this year. In March, a Plaid Pantry store in Clackamas sold the winning $1 million St. Patrick's Day Raffle top prize ticket. In May, another Plaid Pantry store sold a $1 million Powerball ticket.
VISUALS: Oregon Lottery officials will present an over-sized ceremonial check to representatives of Plaid Pantry and will also distribute a limited amount of Oregon's Game Megabucks tickets to patrons of the store.
