OHA and partners to discuss the agency’s strategic plan to eliminate health inequities
PORTLAND, Ore. – Oregon Health Authority (OHA) Director Sejal Hathi, MD, MBA, alongside the Oregon Health Policy Board chair and community partners, will discuss the agency’s 2024-2027 strategic plan during a press conference at 11 a.m. tomorrow, (Tuesday, Aug. 6).
The plan outlines the actions the agency will take to eliminate health inequities in Oregon, working in collaboration with a wide range of allies and partners.

The plan, developed through extensive community engagement and staff involvement, identifies five key areas of focus:
- Transforming behavioral health
- Strengthening access to affordable care for all
- Fostering healthy families and environments
- Achieving healthy Tribal communities
- Building OHA’s internal capacity and commitment to eliminate health inequities
