Healthcare-Associated Infections (HAI) Rules Advisory Committee (RAC) meets virtually March 8

What: Oregon Health Authority’s (OHA) Healthcare-Associated Infections (HAI) Program is convening a Rules Advisory Committee (RAC). This meeting will convene during a regular HAI Advisory Committee (HAIAC) meeting.

Agenda: Proposed amendments to Oregon Administrative Rule (OAR 333-017-0000 [Definitions], OAR 333-018-0015 [What Is to Be Reported and When], OAR 333-018-0018 [Submission of Organisms or Specimens to the Public Health Laboratory] and OAR 333-018-0130 [Healthcare-Associated Infections Public Disclosure]; topics for future meetings and reports; public comment.

When: Wednesday, March 8, 1-3 p.m.

All attendees must use the webinar for audio functions. Please register for the webinar by following the link above. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.

Background: OHA provides oversight and support for the mandatory reporting of healthcare-associated infections in Oregon via the HAI Program.
