Dec. 7: Public invited to update on Western Oregon State Forest Management Plan and Habitat Conservation Plan - 11/24/21

SALEM, Ore. – Join the Oregon Department of Forestry for an update on developing the Western Oregon State Forest Management Plan and Habitat Conservation Plan virtually via Zoom at 1 p.m. Tuesday, December 7.

This meeting will provide updates on the Forest Management Plan (FMP) & Implementation Plans (IPs) for ODF-managed forestland west of the Cascade Mountains and will also provide an update on the Western Oregon State Forests Habitat Conservation Plan (HCP) and National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) process focused on that HCP. RSVP is requested.

The meeting will take place from 1-4 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 7, including:

  • 1–3 p.m.: Background information, process updates, presentations, and an opportunity for Q&A/discussion and to provide feedback. 
  • 3-4 p.m.: An informal discussion period to provide participants with an open discussion on any topics presented during the meeting.
