Update on Western Oregon State Forests Habitat Conservation Plan process set for June 12 in Salem - 06/06/19

SALEM, Ore. – A public meeting to provide an update on a possible Western Oregon State Forests Habitat Conservation Plan is set for Wednesday, June 12 in Salem.

This meeting will include a presentation by the HCP project team and for the public to ask questions and provide comments to the Oregon Department of Forestry. The meeting will be from 1-3 p.m. Wednesday, June 12 at Broadway Commons, Peru Room, 1300 Broadway St. NE, Salem 97301. Attendees will have the chance to meet with project team members for further discussion after the presentation and Q&A period.

Topics will include permit and plan area, the covered species list, expected covered activities, proposed Mission, Vision and Goals and the stakeholder process. Please note that the Elliott State Forest, which is no longer managed by ODF, is not part of this process.
