News Release
Deschutes County Farm Bureau offers $6K in scholarships - 02/07/19

Deschutes County Farm Bureau (DCFB) is proud to offer a generous college scholarship program to its members. A total of $6,000 will be awarded this year.

Students from families who are current voting or supporting Farm Bureau members in Deschutes County are encouraged to apply.

There will be an $1,000 scholarship given to a graduating high school senior from each of the three school districts in Deschutes County: Bend-Lapine, Redmond, and Sisters. Applicants must be planning to attend a college or university.

New from DCFB this year are two $1,500 scholarships for returning college students already enrolled in classes.

Scholarships are open to students pursuing any field of study, with preference given to those interested in agriculture- or forestry-related careers.

The application deadline is April 30, 2019.

Find the scholarship guidelines and application at www.OregonFB.org/scholarships.

The applicant's family must be a voting or supporting member of Deschutes County Farm Bureau. A family can join Farm Bureau to become eligible for the scholarship program. Dues for DCFB are $125. Visit www.OregonFB.org/join.
