*Media Invitation To Oregon Empowers Guatemala Orientation* - 02/13/23

Oregon Empowers invites members of the media for an opportunity to speak with the team members of Oregon Empowers Guatemala on Wednesday, February 15, at 11:00 a.m. at ORECA Headquarters, 8565 SW Salish Lane, Suite #130, Wilsonville, OR 97070.

In March, 12 volunteer linemen and an engineer from electric cooperatives across Oregon will travel to Guatemala to electrify a village. It's an exciting and ambitious project never before done by a group of utilities in Oregon. The project will create a foundation for the village to achieve future economic prosperity and experience an improved quality of life.

Onsite

Linemen from co-ops in Hood River, Philomath, Eugene, Coos Bay, Hermiston, La Pine and Baker City will be available to interview, as well as Oregon Empowers leadership from Wilsonville. 

Duration

An hour will be allotted for interview opportunities.
