Oregon Army National Guard Prepares To Open New Recruiting Office In Wilsonville (Photo) - 12/14/21

SALEM, Ore. - The Oregon Army National Guard will hold the Grand Opening for the new recruiting storefront at the Wilsonville, Oregon, Town Center, with a formal Ribbon-Cutting ceremony to be held at 8:00 a.m. on December 15, 2021.

The new location is at 8929 S.W. Wilsonville Road, Suite 1, and the ceremony will last from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. 

Attendees will include Wilsonville Mayor Julie Fitzgerald, Wilsonville Area Chamber of Commerce Chair Jaimy Beltran, and Oregon Army National Guard Soldiers who recently assisted several area Hospitals during the surge of the COVID-19 Delta variant.

"We are proud to be part of our communities across Oregon and again here in Wilsonville," said Col. Sharel L. Pond, Commander of the Oregon Army National Guard Recruiting Command.

The Oregon National Guard is the only military organization in the state that allows members to serve both the local community and the nation. Everyone is encouraged to visit and enjoy the new Oregon Army National Guard Recruiting office, and refreshments will be provided.
