WorkSource Oregon invites job seekers to Gresham job fair for entry-level positions in health care

WHERE: 18633 SE Stark St., Portland, OR 97233
Gresham, Ore. — WorkSource Oregon will host a health care job fair at its Gresham location on Thursday, Aug. 20, from 10 a.m. to noon. Job seekers can talk to multiple employers about a variety of entry-level positions, including certified nursing assistants (CNAs), caregivers, direct support professionals (DSPs), and similar occupations.
The event is free to attend and open to the public. The media are also welcome to attend. Job seekers are encouraged to bring multiple copies of their resumes and come prepared to discuss their skills with employers.
“This is a chance for job seekers to meet employers face to face and discover how they can make a positive impact in their communities,” said Jim Pfarrer, director of Workforce Operations with the Oregon Employment Department. “We encourage anyone curious about a career in health care to show up excited to share their strengths and ready to explore the many paths available in this important field.”
