Portland Weird Fest at Oaks Park, September 7th at 12:30pm—The City of Portland has proclaimed September 7th, 2024, as “Keep Portland Weird Day,” a celebration dedicated to honoring the city's unique and imaginative spirit. Join us for Portland Weird Fest at Oaks Park, where we’ll commemorate this special day and present the official proclamation to Terry Currier, celebrated as "the father of Portland’s weird movement."

Portland Weird Fest will be a vibrant showcase of everything that makes Portland wonderfully quirky. Attendees will experience a day full of eccentric performances, inventive art exhibits, and characters—all reflecting the creative spirit that defines our city.

- Proclamation Ceremony: At 12:30 PM, we will present the “Keep Portland Weird Day” proclamation to Terry Currier, whose dedication to fostering Portland's distinctive culture has made a significant impact on our community.
