Fatal Crash - Interstate 84 - Multnomah County - 09/22/25

Multnomah County, Ore. (Sept. 22, 2025) - On Saturday, September 20, 2025, at 3:49 a.m., Oregon State Police responded to a two vehicle crash on Interstate 84, near milepost 24, in Multnomah County.

 

The preliminary investigation indicated a BMW X3, operated by Autumn Breeze Willis (26) of Beaverton, was traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes when it struck an eastbound Tesla Model Y, operated by Jeffrey Allen Flood (40) of Boring, head-on. The crash caused the Tesla to catch fire and become fully engulfed.

 

The operator of the Tesla (Flood) was declared deceased at the scene.

 

The operator of the BMW suffered serious injuries and was transported to an area hospital.

 

The highway was impacted for approximately five hours during the on-scene investigation. The criminal investigation is on-going and further information is unavailable for release.

 

OSP was assisted by Corbett Fire, Multnomah County Sheriff's Office, and ODOT.
