The Oregon State Police Fish and Wildlife Division is asking for the public’s assistance with identifying the person(s) responsible for the unlawful taking of a buck deer in the White River Unit.

It is estimated that the incident occurred sometime between November 4-6, 2020.

The location was on USFS 1700 road on the 660 spur near Gibson Prairie, East of Parkdale, OR in the Mt. Hood National Forest.

On November 7, 2020 a citizen driving in the woods located a dead deer approximately 50 yards off the road and reported to an OSP Fish and Wildlife Trooper.
