Driver Believed To Have Suffered Medical Emergency Before Driving Off Hwy 20 Near Burns (Harney County) -09/11/18

On September 11, 2018 at approximately 7:00 AM, Oregon State Police and emergency personnel responded to the report of a single vehicle crash on Hwy 20 near mile post 142.

Investigation revealed that on September 10, 2018 at approximately 4:45 PM Kristina Baker (44) from Burns, left her residence operating a 2015 Ford F350 pulling a livestock trailer.  Later that evening her family reported her missing to the Harney County Sheriff's Office.  

On September 11, 2018 at approximately 7:00 AM her vehicle was located.  The vehicle was located off Hwy 20 through a fence and into a field which caused little damage to the vehicle.  Baker was located deceased in the vehicle.  It is believed that Baker suffered a medical emergency which caused her to drive off the road.

OSP was assisted by the Harney County Sheriff's Office and Harney County Ambulance.
