The deceased driver has been identified as 39 year old Beau Helaman Flynn from Eugene.

On Thursday November 16, 2017 at approximately 6:43pm, Oregon State Police Troopers and emergency personnel responded to the report of a single vehicle crash on US-20 near milepost 16.
Preliminary investigation revealed a silver 2001 Acura car, operated by 39-year-old male was traveling east on US-20 when the Acura veered off the road and struck a tree. The male suffered fatal injuries, and was pronounced deceased at the scene. His name is being withheld pending next of kin notification.
Lebanon Fire and the Oregon Department of Transportation assisted OSP. Speed is being considered as a contributing factor of the crash.
