Boones Ferry Boat Landing Closure June 20, 21 -06/12/23
Clackamas County Parks will close the Boones Ferry Landing boat ramp on June 20 and 21, to complete an inspection of the boat ramp.
The boat ramp is over 25 years old and due to the lengthy permit process, the Marine Board hopes to determine if modifications or other improvements can extend its useful life.
Clackamas County and the Marine Board have a long-standing partnership to provide boating access and funding for improvements.
###
The Marine Board is directly funded by boaters in the form of registration, title, and permit fees, as well as through marine fuel taxes. No lottery, general fund tax dollars, or local facility parking fees support the agency or its programs. Boater-paid fees support the boating public through boating safety services (on-the-water law enforcement, training, and equipment), boating safety education, grants for constructing and maintaining boating access facilities, and environmental protection programs.
