Marine Board Meeting Virtually June 14 - 06/04/21

The Oregon State Marine Board will be meeting virtually using Microsoft Teams on June 14, beginning at 8:30 am.

Agenda items include:

  • Director’s Agency Report
  • Deferred Grant Applications for: National Center for Cold Water Safety, City of Siletz, City of Independence, Baker County, City of Umatilla, and City of Sutherlin
  • Consideration of Individual Cycle One Grant Applications: Douglas County, City of La Grande, Polk County, City of Coos Bay, US Forest Service – Deschutes National Forest, Marion County, two applications for Oregon State Parks, Port of Hood River, Boardman Parks & Recreation District, City of Tigard, Port of Columbia County, Tualatin Riverkeepers, Lane County, City of Grants Pass, and Jackson County
  • Maintenance Assistance Grant Procedure Guide and Application Process
  • Possible Rulemaking via Petition; to repeal recent amendments to OAR 250-020-0280 and 250-020-0032 in Clackamas and Multnomah Counties on the Willamette River

Written public comment will be accepted until the end of day on June 9, 2021, and can be emailed to .cooper@oregon.gov">jennifer.cooper@oregon.gov or by U.S. Mail to Oregon State Marine Board, Attn: Jennifer Cooper, 435 Commercial St NE Ste 400 Salem, OR 97301. Verbal comments will be accepted during the public comment portion at the beginning of the virtual meeting. If you would like to provide oral testimony during the meeting, register with Jennifer Cooper, .cooper@oregon.gov">jennifer.cooper@oregon.gov, no later than June 9 at 5:00 pm.

Under Oregon state law, executive sessions are closed to the public. Representatives of the news media are allowed to attend. Reporters are directed not to report on the discussions during executive session, except to state the general subject. No decisions will be made in the executive session.
