Tualatin Lions Put Safety First -- 2020 Easter Egg Hunt is Cancelled - 03/25/20

The Tualatin Lions Club always takes the well-being of the region's children seriously. With the current public health issues in mind and Governor Brown’s “Stay Home, Save Lives” order, the 2020 Tualatin Lions Club Easter Egg Hunt, originally scheduled for April 11th is being canceled.

The Tualatin Community Park will still be nice and green and available for families to play in, while observing “Social Distance”.

The Easter Bunny has assured the Tualatin Lions that he completely understands and agrees with this decision. Easter Bunny and the Tualatin Lions want all kids and their families to be safe, healthy and happy.

As this evolving situation develops and eventually subsides, the Tualatin Lions will put their creative thinking to work and will host a Tualatin kid-centric event that will, of course, include candy.

The Tualatin Lions have also indefinitely postponed their in-person meetings. Some day, hopefully soon, the Lions will be meeting on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays at 6:30PM at the Tualatin Valley Elks Lodge, 8350 SW Warm Springs St., Tualatin.

All of the members of the Tualatin Lions Club urge everyone to “Stay Home, Save Lives”. We’ll get through this together.
