Rockslide on Oregon 138W about 10 miles south of Elkton
Oregon 138 West will remain closed all day due to rockslide 10 miles south of Elkton (Photo) - 11/12/21

ELKTON – Oregon 138 West (Elkton to Sutherlin Highway) is expected to remain closed the rest of the day due to a rockslide 10 miles south of Elkton.

An estimated 7,000 cubic yards of rock and debris slid into the roadway earlier this morning and will need to be cleared before the highway can be opened. The rockslide is located about a mile north of the Yellow Creek day use area.

Motorists are advised to use alternate routes.
