I-84 eastbound freeway is expected to remain closed for 3-4 more hours between Exit 216 (6 miles east of Pendleton) and Exit 256 (5 miles west of La Grande) due to a crash near Exit 256. Paramedics are now responding to a medical emergency within the backed up traffic area.
