Hwy. 350 in Wallowa County open to single lane travel with flaggers 14 miles east of Joseph (Photo) - 05/27/18

Hwy. 350 (Inmaha Highway) is now open to single lane travel with flaggers between MP 14 and 20, 14 miles east of Joseph. The route was closed since late Friday evening due to heavy rains that resulted in land slides on some parts of the roadway and erosion that underminned the pavement in a couple other areas. Crews have been on scene addressing the issues since the damage occured. Debris from the slide activity has been removed and plans made for repairing the damaged roadway and shoulders. Single lane travel in a couple areas is expected to remain in placed throughout the day. Crews hope to have the highway open to two-lane traffic in all areas by this evening. Motorists are advised to drive with extra caution and watch for crews and traffic cones. Expect minor delays and rough sufaces in impacted areas. Continue to check TripCheck.com or call 511 / 800-977-6368 for update conditions.
