I-84 Westbound To Be Opened This Morning In Eastern Oregon - Photo (Photo) - 03/04/18

I-84 remains closed WB between Exit 374 (Ontario) and Exit 216 (7 miles east of Pendleton) due to multi-vehicle crashes that occurred near MP 223-224 (Cabbage Hill area) last night. THE WB FREEWAY IS EXPECTED TO BE OPEN THIS MORNING. The freeway closure was extended from La Grande to Ontario due to lack of safe truck parking in La Grande and Baker City. The freeway is currently closed to all traffic in Ontario. If you use alternate routes stay on main highways, don't blindly follow GPS direction onto unfamiliar roads. Expect icy / winter conditions on OR 204 (Tollgate Hwy) and other routes in the eastern Oregon area. ODOT crews are applying sand / deicer where appropriate.
