Detectives Seeking Additional Witnesses To Shots Being Fired After Disturbance (Photo) - 08/16/20
Last night, at 10:00 pm, we received a report of a disturbance with several people fighting in the parking lot of Rodder’s Grub and Pub, 19195 Molalla Ave. Initial reports were that a gun might be involved. When we arrived, we learned a suspect had fired a gun from his vehicle, crashed into another vehicle in the parking lot, and then fled the scene down Fir St. Responding officers located the suspect at a nearby business on Fir St. and he was taken into custody without incident. The suspect was identified as 25-year-old Gresham resident, Cole Robert Scott. A Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office K-9 assisted us locating the handgun.
During the initial physical disturbance, one male victim,sustained injuries and he was taken to the hospital for treatment. We did not locate anyone that was struck by gunfire.
Mr. Scott was arrested and lodged at the Clackamas County Jailfor Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Discharging a Firearm within the City, Hit and Run, and Disorderly Conduct II.
Detectives are continuing their investigating into the disturbance and the shooting. They are asking anyone who witnessed the disturbance and/or the shooting to call the Oregon City Tip line at 503-496-1616. Reference OCPD case #20-017337.
