UPDATE: Suspect in shooting at police is identified (Photo) - 01/10/18

The suspect who shot at a CCSO deputy last night after running from Oregon City Police officers is 31-year-old James Randall Paquin. The shooter was lodged at the Clackamas County Jail on Attempted Aggravated Murder, Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, and is also being held on a Parole Violation out of Lane County. The shooter is being held without bail.

The associated female was not arrested.

Detectives from the Oregon City Police Department and the Clackamas County Major Crimes Team are continuing their investigation. We are extremely thankful that the CCSO deputy, our officers, and the witnesses are okay.
