News Release
Oregon Pacific Bank to Hold Free Community Shred Events Oct. 23 in Florence, Coos Bay and Roseburg - 10/13/21

In celebration of Oregon Community Bank Week, Oregon Pacific Bank is holding free document shredding events in the communities of Florence, Coos Bay and Roseburg.

According to a 2019 Shred-it Fraud Awareness Week Report, more than a quarter (27%) of Americans do not shred paper or physical documents containing sensitive information before throwing them away at home. With identify fraud on the rise and now affecting millions of U.S. consumers, securely destroying documents that contain personal information is one of the best ways consumers can protect themselves from would-be identity thieves.

Oregon Pacific Bank invites community members to bring their confidential paper documents to be securely destroyed and recycled by an onsite mobile shredding truck. Business owners are being asked to wait to bring their documents until the last hour of the event.
