Lewis & Clark Bank to Hold Free Community Shred Events Oct. 16 in Oregon City, Seaside and Astoria - 10/13/21

In celebration of Oregon Community Bank Week, Lewis & Clark Bank is holding free document shredding events in the communities of Oregon City, Seaside and Astoria.

According to a 2019 Shred-it Fraud Awareness Week Report, more than a quarter (27%) of Americans do not shred paper or physical documents containing sensitive information before throwing them away at home. With identify fraud on the rise and now affecting millions of U.S. consumers, securely destroying documents that contain personal information is one of the best ways consumers can protect themselves from would-be identity thieves.

Lewis & Clark Bank invites community members to bring their confidential paper documents to be securely destroyed and recycled by an onsite mobile shredding truck.
