New Summit Charter Academy to Host Student Career Fair Featuring Flight For Life, NICU, CSPD, the U.S. Space Force, and over 130 other professionals!

 

Colorado Springs, CO – New Summit Charter Academy is pleased to announce its upcoming Career Fair on April 3rd, 2026. The event will bring together more than 130 industry professionals, first responders, and community organizations to inspire students as they explore future career pathways. The 7th Annual Love of Learning Career Fair is one of the largest career fairs for K-8 students in the state! 

 

This year’s fair will feature returning participants such as Flight For Life, the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Manitou Springs Police Department (CSPD), TIGI Hairdressing Academy, the United States Space Force, Colorado Springs Utilities, and AMR Ambulance Services. New participants include KKTV, CommonSpirit Penrose Hospital, and Colorado Mountain College, with additional organizations continuing to register.

 

Additional participants include the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, USA Archery and Cycling, Pine Top Orthodontics, and more! This experience will offer students valuable opportunities to engage with prominent community leaders.

 

“This event provides an exceptional opportunity for our students to connect with professionals across a wide range of industries, ask meaningful questions, and begin envisioning their future career paths,” said Cortnie Wise, School Counselor at New Summit Charter Academy. “More importantly, it encourages students to dream big about what is possible for their lives. By exposing them to real-world experiences and diverse career journeys, we hope to help them set goals, build confidence, and take meaningful steps toward their futures. Events like this empower students to see that their aspirations are achievable and that their path can start today.”

 

The Career Fair is open to New Summit Charter Academy students and families and will feature hands-on learning experiences, interactive demonstrations, and networking opportunities. With new participants joining daily, this year's event will be one of the most dynamic and exciting to date.

 

We are thankful to our sponsors La Casita Mexican Grill, Insomnia Cookies, Inflate the Date Balloons, Pies and Grinders Pizzeria, and to numerous volunteers who have generously donated food, supplies, and time to make this event incredible!
