New Summit Charter Academy Hosts Career Fair Featuring Flight For Life, the NICU, CSPD, USA Olympians, the Space Force & So Much More!
[Colorado Springs, CO] – New Summit Charter Academy is excited to announce its upcoming Career Fair on April 25th, 2025, bringing together an incredible lineup of over 120 industry professionals, first responders, and community organizations to inspire students about future career opportunities.
This year's event will feature returning favorites like Flight For Life, the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD), Academy of Children’s Theatre, United States Space Force, and AMR Ambulance Services. New participants include the Women in Transportation Society, Kilroy’s Blacksmithing Workshop, Colorado Springs Utilities, TIGI Hairdressing Academy, and many more signing up every day.
We are also thrilled to announce that we have Olympians from USA Swimming, USA Shooting, and USA Taekwondo who will all be in attendance, bringing a truly inspiring presence to this year’s fair.
In addition, the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, the Office of Mayor Yemi Mobolade, the District Attorney’s Office, and local news station KOAA will be joining the event, offering students a truly unique experience with prominent community leaders.
“This is a fantastic opportunity for our students to engage with professionals across multiple industries, ask questions, and explore potential career paths,” said Cortnie Wise, School Counselor at New Summit Charter Academy. “We are thrilled to bring together such a diverse group of organizations that represent critical career fields in our community.”
The Career Fair is open to New Summit Charter Academy students and families. It offers hands-on learning experiences, interactive demonstrations, and networking opportunities. With more organizations signing up daily, this year’s fair is set to be one of the most dynamic and engaging yet.
