Focused DUI Efforts In Newberg & Dundee - 09/16/26

The Newberg-Dundee Police Department participated in focused DUII patrols from August 19th through September 7th as part of a Labor Day holiday enforcement effort. This resulted in two DUII arrests, which is a relatively low amount compared to past years. We are hopeful that these enforcement efforts are having the desired impact of reducing the number of impaired driver's on the road and encouraging people to find a sober ride home. These patrols will continue periodically throughout the year with the partnership of the Oregon Department of Transportation and Oregon Impact.
