Newberg-Dundee Police Department Office Accessibility To Public Beginning Friday March 13, 2020
- 03/13/20
The Newberg-Dundee Police Department (NDPD) will be implementing temporary changes in protocol as we serve the public due to the COVID-19 virus situation. These changes are being implemented to protect our staff and the communities we serve.
Beginning today, Friday March 13th, the entrance to the NDPD Public Safety Building will be staffed but closed to the public. The non-emergency phone number to the 911 Center is 503-538-8321.
Police Officers are being instructed to answer calls for service via telephone when possible but will continue to respond in person to emergency situations and those wishing personal contact. During personal contacts we are encouraging social distancing guidelines be followed. Community members may also ask for a mail out police report.
We will continue to work with public health officials to monitor the situation and will adjust protocol as needed.
