AMBOY, WASHINGTON – Saturday, November 10th at Mt. Valley Grange #79, 40107 NE 221st Ave., Amboy, WA.  The event is co-hosted by the North Clark Historical Museum and Mt. Valley Grange #79.

Pie and Ice Cream Social at 5:30 pm.  Adults $3.00, Children (12 and under) $1.50.  Proceeds go to Mt. Valley Grange for operating expenses.

The program will begin at 6:45 pm.  Program speaker is John Nanney, Adjutant for American Legion Post #168.  Organizational speaker will be Bob Alexander, Boy Scouts Troop #349.  Entertainment will be provided by the Amboy Middle School Band, led by Gary Bong.

All Veterans attending will receive a free raffle ticket for a special Patriotic Quilt made and donated by the Chelatchie Quilters.  The quilt is lap size and only a Veteran can win it.

The winning ticket for the quilt “Friendship Rings”, fundraiser for North Clark Historical Museum will be drawn.  The proceeds from the raffle will go into the Capital Improvement Fund.  Tickets will be available that evening from 5:30 pm to 6:45 pm.

There is also a Door Prize Raffle, proceeds for the Museum, and a Pie Auction concludes the evening.  The proceeds for the Pie Auction go to Mt. Valley Grange.

The North Clark Historical Museum was founded in 1988 and is a 501(C)3 non-profit organization governed by a Board of Directors. The doors were opened in June of 2000.  Mission Statement:   To preserve North Clark County’s natural and cultural history through collections and exhibits, and to sponsor educational programs and research opportunities for the enrichment of the public.
