Monmouth Couple Found Dead In Their Home - 08/12/24

MONMOUTH POLICE DEPARTMENT

For Immediate Release: 08/12/2024

 

Monmouth, OR –  Officers responded to the area of 310 Walnut Dr S on Sunday afternoon at about 2:21 p.m. after receiving a 911 call from a neighbor who stated the adult daughter had found her parents dead in their home.

 

Officers arrived on a scene and found the bodies of Kenneth Kosko (81 yoa) and Francis Kosko (76 yoa) both dead in their living room with apparent gunshot wounds.  The gun was located on the husband’s body, hand written notes were also found near the bodies. 

 

Officers secured the residence and called out Detectives from Monmouth Police Department and Oregon State Police, who spent most of the evening investigating this incident.  This investigation remains open at this time as Detectives continue to look into this case.
