Female transported with non life threatening stab wound to the head - 06/06/24

Milwaukie, OR – On 6/6/24 at 12:24 AM, Milwaukie Police were called to the 11000 block of SE 21st Ave. on report of a female with heavy bleeding from her head. The female had at least one significant wound on her head which was non-life threatening. The female was transported to a local hospital, conscious and breathing.

The victim emerged from an apartment building where bystanders noticed her from a local business and called for help. Officers learned the female was staying with an acquaintance in a nearby apartment when an altercation occurred inside the residence between the female victim and the suspect who is identified as Eliza Clinton, 60 of Milwaukie. During the altercation it is believed a kitchen knife was used by Clinton to attack the female victim who sustained at least one stab wound to the head.

The suspect and the victim know each other, behavioral health is a factor and no one else was injured. There is no danger to the public. The suspect, Eliza Clinton, was lodged at the Clackamas County Jail for Assault 1. No further details are available at this time.
