Case: 20-2708 Police Investigating Stabbing Near Trolley Trail
Date: 4/17/2020
On 4/17/2020 at approximately 3:26 pm, Milwaukie Police Officers responded to the area of SE 26th Avenue and SE Sparrow Street in Milwaukie, Oregon, regarding a reported stabbing. The stabbing occurred in a nearby transient camp approximately 30 minutes prior to the call.
The victim, an adult male, was located near SE 26th Avenue and SE Sparrow Street by a Milwaukie Officer. The victim was transported by AMR to a local hospital with non-life-threatening stab wounds to his upper torso.
An adult male matching the suspect description was later located in a separate camp near the crime scene. That subject was detained and then questioned by Milwaukie Detectives before being lodged at the Clackamas County Jail for Assault I. This is an active investigation and the identity of the two men involved have not yet been released.
