Case #18-7325
On 10-17-18, around 11:00 p.m., Milwaukie Police attempted to stop a blue Honda Civic, near SE King Road and SE Bell Avenue, for having no license plates. When police activated their emergency lights, the vehicle sped off at a high rate of speed.
Milwaukie Police pursued the vehicle, which eventually crashed into a detached garage near SE 111th / SE Harold Street in Portland. No one was injured at the residence.
Both the driver and passenger fled the vehicle on foot, but were quickly apprehended with assistance from Portland Police. After checking the VIN, Police learned the vehicle was listed as stolen out of Portland.
The driver of the vehicle, 34-year-old Scott Raymond Keast, was taken into custody for an outstanding warrant. He is facing charges of Unauthorized Use of a vehicle (UUMV), Felony attempt to elude, and possession of controlled substance (PCS-Meth).
The passenger, 28-year-old Destiny Keast, was released at the scene and is facing charges of possession of controlled substance (PCS-Meth).
